The Process of Invention and Innovation

Humans are made within intelligent,  When a strong man face a difficult problem, he will work hard to solve the problem.   But when a creative people face a difficult problem, he will create a tool or a machine to make the problem easier.    this kind of person called inventor.

Here it is some example.  Alexander Graham Bell , He invent the telephone.

But is that enough ? No !

As the time goes by Everything changed, people need communication anywhere and anytime. So Dr. Martin Cooper create telephone that can be used anywhere. So Dr. Martin Cooper called innovator

That is the same situation with PC and tablet

According to a Gartner report out November 6, 821 million smartphones and tablets will be purchased by the end of the year, accounting for 70 per cent of total devices sold in 2012, and by 2013 the number of tablets sold will have passed 1 billion.
The company also believes that by 2016, tablets will have replaced computers in most companies and that more of us will become mobile workers as a result.

nowadays, people need to work with computer anywhere and anytime, that's why people prefer to use laptop than PC. but then the problem is laptop is too big and heavy to be carried anytime. tablet or computer tablet is easy to be carried anywhere and anytime. so people prefer to use tablet than PC or laptop.

the process of invention and innovation does not stop here. after tablet i believe someone will invent something new that better than tablet. that is the process of invention and innovation. 

Ken Robinson says schools kill creativity

In this era creativity is a must. albert einstein said that "creativity is better than knowledge"
we need to be creative to continue our live, we need to be creative to survive.
when Ken Robinson said that school kill creativity, i agree with that.

flash back to when I was in Elementary, junior high school and senior high school,i forced to study something that i don't like to.

i don't need mathematics, past geometry, physics, chemistry to be an animator.  
i think everyone has their own ingenuity. so kids can't be forced to learns something that they dislike. if a person forced to learns something he/she don't like talents would die, and frustation could not be avoided.
I believe if you allow individuals to learn on their own tangents they will create something great in that field

but i didn't say that we don't need school, but i think that we need a new education system.
Inserting different learning styles and interests in the class activities can help engage students in the learning process.

i believe that the purpose of school is  good but seems lose sight of the original purpose, and killing children's creativity.

Creativity

What do you think of  when you hear creativity ?

There are 5 word that comes out when i hear creativity :

imagination
everything start with imagination .. even Albert Einstein said that imagination is better than knowledge

unique
something identical may be boring. we need creativity to make everything unique

different
to be creative, we no need to be good, but need to be different

new
creative mean create something new, or create something with new way

must
in this era. IQ is not enough, smart is not enough. to rule the world, we need to be creative than creative is a must

 and beside that, in my opinion there a 5 word not associated wit creativity. there are :



dull
when something created without creativity.. it may be something dull

gloomy
when something created without creativity.. it may be something gloomy


plagiarism
plagiarism indicate that someone have no creativity and imagination at all.. and plagiarism is a crime

mainstream
everything mainstream may be boring because it created without creativity

stop
creative mean keep changing, keep running, keep innovation. something that stop is not creative

What is this ?

 This is a multifunctional thing it has some utility ..

First, it can be used to be a markers holder. Sometimes, after I used markers in my workspace I forget I put the markers in any place, then when I want to use it again, I forget where I put my markers before.

So with this thing, I can put my markers in on this thing in my work table, so my markers is always available whenever I want to use my marker .

I add a little glue under this thing so, this thing is patch with my table.

Beside that, it can be used as a mold to me to make a round shape or double round shape with my pencil or pen. Look at the example :

so there are many helpfulness of this thing. i have give you two example. and how do you use this thing ?

The Titanic

Titanic is a British passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912 after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton, UK to New York City, US. The sinking of Titanic caused the deaths of 1,502 people in one of the deadliest peacetime maritime disasters in modern history. The RMS Titanic was the largest ship afloat at the time of her maiden voyage. She was the second of three Olympic class ocean liners operated by the White Star Line, and she was built by the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast. On her maiden voyage, she carried 2,224 passengers and crew

 but the question is " Why did the titanic hit the iceberg ? " 

Some people believes that It was Captain Smith's fault, All he had to do was get to New York in record time. Captain E. J. Smith said years before the Titanic's voyage, "I cannot imagine any condition which would cause a ship to founder. Modern shipbuilding has gone beyond that." Captain Smith ignored seven iceberg warnings from his crew and other ships. If he had called for the ship to slow down then maybe the Titanic disaster would not have happened.

Some people said that it was Bruce Ismay's fault, Bruce Ismay was the Managing Director of the White Star Line and he was aboard the Titanic. Competition for Atlantic passengers was fierce and the White Star Line wanted to show that they could make a six-day crossing. To meet this schedule the Titanic could not afford to slow down. It is believed that Ismay put pressure on Captain Smith to maintain the speed of the ship.

so, there are many argument about titanic hit the iceberg, all we can do is take lesson from this accident, may the victims rest in peace.
